The History of Andhra Pradesh is the
history of coming together of Cultures, Religious harmony and the glorious
march of a grandiose Civilization. While the region saw the flourishing of
Buddhist civilization under the great reign of emperor Ashoka, before the birth
of Christ, the early part of the last millennium witnessed the Hindu
civilization at its best.
Right from the Satavahans,who first ruled these parts, to
the later day Moghuls and the Qutub Shahis, who gave us Hyderabad each dynasty
left its indelible mark on the culture, heritage and architecture of the
region.
Hyderabad today is the Capital of Andhra Pradesh, retaining
its traditional charm while enticing people with its new-look ambience. Added to
it is the new found love for the city by international IT giants and its
manifestation Cyderabad (Hitec City ).
Andhra Pradesh also boasts of innumerable tourist
destinations that should not be missed.
